The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, a non-profit think tank dedicated to reducing the impact of quakes, has produced a comprehensive special report on the Japan earthquake and tsunami, focusing on “societal dimensions” -- everything from emergency management to economic impacts.
A useful reference document packed full of statistics.
