KABUL, Aug 29 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 0700 GMT on Monday.

KABUL - Three militants were killed when a roadside bomb they were planting exploded in the eastern Paktika province on Sunday, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

HELMAND - Twelve militants were killed when they attacked troops from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in southern Helmand province on Sunday, the local government said in a statement.

KABUL - Afghan security forces and ISAF troops killed an insurgent in northern Kunduz province on Sunday, the coalition said in a statement.

GHAZNI - Afghan forces and ISAF troops killed six insurgents overnight in central Ghazni province, regional governor spokesman Mahrof Ayoubi said. (Compiled by Kabul bureau)
