Dec 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1430 GMT on Thursday.

KUNDUZ - A suicide bomber blew himself up near a police post in the northern city of Kunduz, killing one officer and wounding three civilians, a provincial police official said.
* HERAT - A prominent cleric in the western province of Herat and his son were killed by insurgents on Wednesday, said the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). Mullah Ammanullah, a district shura chairman, and his son were on their way to a bazaar in Shindand district when they were attacked by two gunmen, ISAF said. Ammanullah had been involved with a government anti-terrorism programme, it said.
KABUL - An ISAF air strike killed a Taliban leader and two insurgents in Ghazni province, southwest of Kabul, on Wednesday, the coalition said.
