* KANDAHAR - A roadside mine killed one policeman and wounded two in Spin Boldak district of southern Kandahar province on Thursday, Kandahar police chief Abdul Raziq said.
KABUL - A roadside mine killed four civilians and wounded one in Trinkot city of southern Uruzgan province on Friday, the interior ministry said in a statement.
BAGRAM AIRFIELD - Afghan and coalition forces killed one insurgent and detained 13 in eastern Afghanistan during operations on Thursday, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement. (Compiled by Kabul newsroom)
