Nov 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 0750 GMT on Wednesday.
HELMAND - 14 insurgents and a civilian were killed and one civilian was wounded when insurgents attacked an Afghan and foreign troops' patrol in Grishk district of southern Helmand province on Tuesday, the Helmand governor said in a statement.
KABUL - Afghan security forces and foreign troops killed 30 insurgents and detained 40 more over the past 24 hours in 14 provinces, the interior ministry said in a statement.
