April 17 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1730 GMT on Sunday.

* MOSUL - Gunmen attacked a police security checkpoint and killed a policeman in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a vehicle exploded in western Baghdad, killing a National Security Ministry official and wounding two members of his family, as well as two passers-by, an Interior Ministry source said.

KIRKUK - A bomb attached to the car of a businessman killed him when it went off in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - The bullet-ridden body of a policeman was found in Baghdad's northern Shaab district, police said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen using silenced weapons stormed a house and killed four people, including three women, in western Baghdad late on Saturday, police said.
