FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, April 25

April 25 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 2000 GMT on Monday.
* Denotes new or updated item.
* HAWIJA - A policeman was wounded when a roadside bomb went off in central Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, Kirkuk police operations room said.
* HAWIJA - Iraqi troops freed three Turkish workers and one Iraqi who had been held hostage in a village near Hawija, Kirkuk police operations room said.
BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a pick-up truck wounded two of its passengers when it went off in Baghdad's central Karrada district, an Interior Ministry source said.
MOSUL - At least 10 people were wounded in Mosul in clashes between Iraqi security forces and people protesting against any extension of U.S. troops in Iraq beyond the end of the year, a medical source and witnesses said. Mosul is 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad.
KIRKUK - One Kurdish security guard was killed and five others, including three Kurdish guards, wounded, when clashes erupted between Iraqi soldiers and Kurdish security forces in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, Kirkuk police chief Jamal Tahir said. Tahir said clashes occurred due to a misunderstanding between the two groups, but declined to give further details.
