FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, April 7

April 7 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1400 GMT on Thursday.
BASRA - One Iraqi soldier was killed and eight others were wounded when munitions they were transporting exploded in northwestern Basra, 420 km (260 miles) southeast of Baghdad, medical and police sources said.
MOSUL - A roadside bomb went off near a car carrying a police official, wounding his driver, in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad on Wednesday, police said. The official was unharmed.
