Following are security developments in Iraq at 0900 GMT on Sunday.
ISKANDARIYA - Bombs planted around a house killed five family members and wounded nine in the town of Iskandariya, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, an officer in Babil police headquarters said. Another police source put the toll at six killed and 14 wounded.
ISKANDARIYA - A sticky bomb attached to a mini-bus wounded the driver in the town of Iskandariya, an officer in Babel police headquarters said.
KIRKUK - A roadside bomb went off near a police patrol, wounding a policeman on Saturday in Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. (Compiled by Baghdad newsroom)
