Feb 5 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1330 GMT on Sunday.

* BAGHDAD - Gunmen in a speeding car used silenced weapons to shoot dead an off-duty police major inside his car in central Baghdad, police said.
ISHAQI - Three roadside bombs exploded, wounding three people including a policeman in Ishaqi, 100 km (60 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
SAMARRA - Gunmen kidnapped the brother of Sunni lawmaker and Iraqiya political bloc member Nahida al-Daini on the road from Baghdad to Kirkuk late on Saturday. The brother's bodyguard was also seized from the car on the highway west of Samarra, 100 km(60 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. (Reporting by Baghdad newsroom)
