Jan 22 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 0730 GMT on Sunday.
BAQUBA - Two policemen and two gunmen were killed and a member of the government-backed Sunni Sahwa militia was wounded in a clash at a security checkpoint in a village near Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - Gunmen using silenced weapons killed a policeman in the Habibiya district of eastern Baghdad on Saturday, police said.
FALLUJA - Gunmen opened fire at an army checkpoint on Saturday and killed two soldiers in Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.
ISKANDARIYA - Gunmen attacked an army checkpoint on Saturday, killing one policeman and wounded two others, in the town of Iskandariya, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, police said. (Compiled by Baghdad bureau)
