Jan 26 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1900 GMT on Thursday.
* Indicates a new or updated item.
* GARMA - Gunmen using silenced weapons killed the local leader of the government-backed Sunni Sahwa militia, Naeem abd Allah Falih, as he left a mosque in the town of Garma, 30 km (20 miles) northwest of Baghdad, a local police source said.
* BAGHDAD - A bomb blast inside a coffee shop and a roadside bomb explosion seconds later outside the shop killed three people and wounded 17 others in the Saidiya district of southern Baghdad, police and hospital sources said.
* BAGHDAD - Gunmen using silenced weapons killed an off-duty police lieutenant-colonel in his car in Baghdad's southern Saidiya district, police and hospital sources said.
* BAGHDAD - Gunmen using silenced weapons broke into a real estate shop and killed three civilians, including the owner, and wounded another in the Yarmouk district of west-central Baghdad, police and hospital sources said.
MOSUL - Gunmen shot dead a son of a prominent Sunni tribal leader in front of his house in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
KIRKUK - A parked three-wheeled motorbike blew up, killing three people and wounding six others, in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police and hospital sources said.
MUSSAYAB - A policeman and nine relatives were killed as they slept when militants bombed their house in Mussayab, about 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police sources said.
KIRKUK - A sticky bomb attached to a civilian's car blew up, killing him and a passenger late on Wednesday in southern Kirkuk, police said.
KIRKUK - Gunmen in a speeding car, using silenced weapons, shot dead two off-duty policemen in front of their house late on Wednesday in southeastern Kirkuk, police said. (Compiled by Baghdad bureau)
