July 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1830 GMT on Friday.
* Denotes a new or updated item.
* JURF AL-SAKHAR - Gunmen in a speeding car killed two members of the government-backed Sunni Sahwa militia in Jurf al-Sakhar, 60 km (37 miles) south of Baghdad, according to the local police.
* ABU SAIDA - The body of a woman in her 30s who had been shot numerous times was discovered in the town of Abu Saida, 70 km (44 miles) northeast of Baghdad, according to the Diyala police.
* BAQUBA - Gunmen wearing military uniforms killed a member of the Sahwa militia after forcing their way into his home in Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, according to the local police.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded four people including a policeman when it went off near a police patrol in Baghdad's southern district of Doura, police said.
KIRKUK - Gunmen in a speeding car shot at and wounded a policeman standing by a stationary police patrol in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - Two U.S. service members were killed while conducting operations in central Iraq on Thursday, the U.S. military said, without giving further details.
FALLUJA - A parked car bomb near a primary school wounded 10 civilians when it exploded late on Thursday in southern Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - Gunmen wounded a soldier when they opened fire on an army checkpoint in Baghdad's northern Adhamiya district late on Thursday, a military source said.
