Japan Edano: not discussing tax hikes now

TOKYO, April 28 (Reuters) - Japan's top government spokesman said on Thursday that the government is not discussing the specifics of tax hikes to fund the reconstruction of areas devastated by last month's earthquake and tsunami.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano was speaking at a news conference after a cabinet meeting.
