LONDON (Trust.org) - Thomson Reuters Foundation’s humanitarian news site AlertNet and its online portal Trust.org have won prestigious EPPY Awards from media journal Editor and Publisher.

AlertNet, esteemed in the aid community for its up-to-the-minute coverage of crises ranging from natural disasters to conflicts, won a "Best News Website" award.

“Best Overall Website Design” award went to Trust.org – which links to the foundation’s services including AlertNet, journalism training site TrustMedia, legal assistance, good governance and women’s rights site TrustLaw, the foundation’s Emergency Information Service (EIS) and the Reuters Institute.
