Chuck Leavell, keyboardist for The Rolling Stones, is an outspoken activist on conservation and environmental issues, including the need for effective action to curb climate change. In this video, he speaks to the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s climate change editor, Laurie Goering, about how extreme weather is leading to growing awareness that “climate change is real” and that political leaders “need to be doing something” – as well as what The Rolling Stones and other musical artists are doing to cut their own carbon footprints.
