BAGHDAD, Sept 1 (Reuters) - At least 15 people were killed in clashes following a mortar attack on an Iranian dissident camp north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Sunday, two security sources said.
Mortar rounds were fired on the camp early on Sunday, the sources said. It was not immediately clear who carried out the attack.
Later clashes between security forces and camp residents led to the deaths of 15 people, the sources added. The Mujahadin-e-Khalq (MEK) dissident group said 34 of its members had been killed by Iraqi security forces. (Reporting by Kareem Raheem, Writing by Sylvia Westall; Editing by Andrew Heavens)
