The 2014 Emergency Appeals alert donors – governments, National Societies, civil society and the private sector – to the suffering of millions of people. But they also show what we are doing to help these people, build their resilience and prevent further violations of their rights.

Every single day, the ICRC’s 12,500 field staff are making a difference to people facing the extreme consequences of conflict and violence.
