A building said to be a government stronghold comes down in Damascus.

The video, which can not be independently verified by Reuters, comes as the U.N. releases a survey saying in some districts of Damascus three-quarters of homes have been damaged, and more than 90 percent of residents say they need help to survive

Fighting is raging across the country.

The conflict in Syria now entering its fourth year began with an uprising that descended into civil war.

Now, rights groups say more than 150,000 have been killed.

With world powers unable to stop the violence, there are few signs of peace on the horizon.
