BEIJING, May 1 (Reuters) - Three people were killed and 79 wounded in a bomb attack at a train station in the capital of China's restive far western region of Xinjiang, state news agency Xinhua said on Thursday.

Xinhua said four of the people had been seriously injured in the blast which hit outside an exit at the station in Urumqi on Wednesday evening. (Reporting by Ben Blanchard; Editing by Robin Pomeroy)
