MOSCOW, July 30 (Reuters) - The number of dead in two separate accidents in Ukraine coal mines rose to 25 after a seventh body was found at a pit near the town of Makiyivka in Donetsk region, Interfax agency reported on Saturday.

Four more people were still missing at the state-owned mine near Makiyivka where a piece of heavy machinery collapsed early on Friday.

An explosion in a mine in the Luhansk region, also on Friday, killed at least 18 people, according to local news agencies.

The accident became the deadliest since 2007, raising more concerns over safety standards in Ukraine coal industry. (Reporting by Andrey Ostroukh; editing by David Stamp)
