Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1230 GMT on Monday.

KABUL - A member of the Afghan security forces was killed by a suicide bomber in the eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, the interior ministry said in a statement.

The attack, in provincial capital Jalalabad, wounded 11 more people including eight civilians, it added.

KABUL - Afghan security forces and foreign troops killed four insurgents, wounded one and detained four more in Kabul, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Badghis provinces over the past 24 hours, the interior ministry said in a statement.
