March 3 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1200 GMT on Thursday.

KABUL - A service member from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) was killed by a homemade bomb in southern Afghanistan, ISAF said in a statement. It gave no other details.

KABUL - ISAF troops killed several insurgents setting up a firing position in the Musa Qala district of southern Helmand province on Wednesday, the coalition said.
