Following are security developments in Iraq at 1230 GMT on Wednesday.

BAGHDAD - A parked car bomb wounded six passers-by when it went off in the town of Taji, 20 km (12 miles) north of Baghdad, an interior ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - At least eight people were wounded, including two policemen, two soldiers and four passers-by when a roadside bomb went off near joint police and Iraqi army patrols in northern Baghdad on Tuesday night, an interior ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb wounded three civilians in Baghdad's southern Saidiya district late on Tuesday, an interior ministry source said.

FALLUJA - Two suspected militants were killed on Tuesday when a bomb they were carrying on a bicycle went off in Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, police said. (Compiled by Baghdad newsroom)
