Dec 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 0830 GMT on Thursday.

BAGHDAD - Armed men using silenced guns opened fire on the car of an Iraqi army brigadier, killing him and wounding his daughter, in the Mansour district of west-central Baghdad on Wednesday, an interior ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - Armed men using silenced guns wounded an Iraqi police lieutenant colonel in Baghdad's western Amiriya district on Wednesday, an interior ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs exploded near a fuel station, wounding one policeman, in Baghdad's northeastern Sadr City area on Wednesday, an interior ministry source said.

MOSUL - Armed men shot dead an Iraqi policeman on Wednesday in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
