March 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1315 GMT on Thursday.

BAGHDAD - Baghdad security office said Major General Ahmed Obeidi, head of the 6th Iraqi Army Division, was still alive after gunmen shot at his car and wounded him in Palestine Street, northeastern Baghdad on Sunday. An Iraqi army source said on Wednesday Obeidi died of wounds sustained from the attack.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb went off and wounded three people in al-Nidhal Street in central Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
