Sept 2 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1400 GMT on Friday.

* Denotes a new or updated item.

* KIRKUK - Police found the body of a man with stab wounds in the chest in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, a source at Kirkuk's police information centre said.

MOSUL - Police recaptured a prisoner who escaped from a temporary jail in the city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, leaving 13 of the original 35 escapees still missing, a local police source said. (Compiled by Baghdad bureau)
