March 12 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Pakistan at 0600 GMT on Saturday.
HANGU - Six Pakistani Taliban militants were killed and three soldiers wounded in a shootout in the Orakzai region of Pakistan's volatile ethnic Pashtun tribal belt near the Afghan border, government officials said.
There was no independent confirmation of the incident as the area is remote and off-limits to journalists.
QUETTA - Six gunmen riding on motorbikes shot at and torched two tankers carrying fuel for NATO forces in Afghanistan in Bolan district of Pakistan's southwestern province of Baluchistan, police said.
