ABUJA, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Gunmen shot dead at least 26 students in an attack on their college residence in northeast Nigeria, a college spokesman said on Tuesday.
The spokesman said by telephone that the shooting took place on Monday night at the Federal Polytechnic Mubi in the remote town of Mubi in Adamawa state. (Reporting by Garba Mohammed; Writing by Tim Cocks)
