ROME, Dec 5 (Reuters) - Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi summoned the Israeli ambassador to a meeting to express strong disapproval of Israel's plans to expand Jewish settlements on occupied land, the foreign ministry in Rome said on Wednesday.
The European Union and individual countries including Britain, France, Spain, Sweden and Denmark have already summoned Israeli ambassadors over the settlement issue. (Reporting By James Mackenzie; Editing by Mark Heinrich)
