NOVO-OGARYOVO, Russia, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Lebanese President Michel Suleiman urged Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday to backs calls for a global conference on helping Beirut cope with refugees fleeing from Syria.
Putin told Suleiman at talks that Russia could offer financial and humanitarian aid to help Lebanon cope, but the Kremlin gave no immediate details. (Reporting by Alexei Anishchuk; Writing by Alissa de Carbonnel, Editing by Timothy Heritage)
