BUCHAREST, Dec 28 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Romanian financial markets on Friday.

MONEY SUPPLY

Romania's central bank is expected to release money supply data for November.

CEE MARKETS

Hungary's forint and the Polish zloty rebounded in tandem on Thursday in shallow trade while other Eastern European currencies eased, reflecting global concerns about the U.S. budget crisis.

JUSTICE

Romania's justice minister sent the proposals for chief prosecutor and head of the DNA anti-corruption prosecuting office to President Traian Basescu for approval on Thursday.

Tiberiu Nitu was nominated as new chief prosecutor and Ioan Irimie as new head of the DNA anti-corruption prosecuting office. The president has the final say on their nomination.
