Aug 14 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1300 GMT on Sunday.

* PARWAN - Taliban suicide bombers killed at least 22 people including six police during an attack on the compound of the governor of the central Parwan province, officials said. The Interior Ministry said 34 were wounded in the attack.

GHAZNI - Two policemen were gunned down in the central Ghazni province, a Reuters witness said. Gunmen had opened fire from a motorcycle, added a police source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

KABUL - A service member from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died following an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan, the coalition said in a statement.

It gave no other details.

KABUL - Afghan security forces and troops from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) killed 17 insurgents in operations across the country, ISAF and the Interior Ministry said in statements. (Compiled by Kabul bureau)
