FALLUJA, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Three protesters were killed on Friday in clashes with Iraqi troops that erupted during Sunni Muslim rallies in Falluja city against Shi'ite Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, hospital sources said.

"We received three bodies with gunshot wounds," said one source at Falluja general hospital.

It was the most serious violence since Sunni protesters began taking to the streets in late December to challenge Maliki's Shi'ite-led government and rally against what they see as the marginalisation of their minority sect.
