MAG saves lives and builds futures by working with others to reclaim land contaminated with the debris of conflict, to reduce the daily risk of death or injury for civilians, and to create safe and secure conditions for development. MAG shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines for our work to ban landmines. Our vision is a safe and secure future for men, women and children affected by armed violence and conflict.

We are looking for an exceptional Fundraising/Supporter Care Assistant to join our dynamic Fundraising and Communications team.

This will be a varied and challenging role, where you will provide support to MAG’s fundraising activities by maintaining donor records, dealing with queries, processing income, and managing event enquiries. You will be our friendly first port of call, liaising directly with supporters in writing, over the phone and face-to-face.

You will have previous experience of administration work in a busy, customer-facing environment, ideally a charity, and have the organisational skills to manage a diverse and changing workload.  An excellent communicator and team player, able to develop relationships with supporters, you will have the technical skills to manage a customer database and be able to produce a range of accurate financial reports.

We’re happy to consider candidates who might want to take the role on a flexible or part time basis.  If you’d like such an arrangement please state it on your application form, or contact us if you’d like to discuss it in advance.

For further information about the role, and details of how to apply, please visit our website at http://www.maginternational.org/vacancies before the closing date of 14 October 2014.
