Contract Length: 12 Months
The Role:
The HR Manager will assist the HR Director on assessments, HR strategy, coordinate recruitment, develop robust systems, policy and practice on people management in a complex emergency.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
- Qualification in Human Resource management / Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience at management level in complex environments ideally within an INGO
- Proven operational HR experience of providing a senior generalist HR service to managers across a full range of HR issues
- Excellent knowledge of Turkish Employment law.
- Experience working in the Middle East Region
- Excellent skills in handling and advising on complex people management issue.
- Experience of and well developed skills in international recruitment
- Good attention to detail
- High understanding of the importance of confidentially.
- Understanding staff care for humanitarian staff, in particular approaches to welfare Good facilitation skills and ability to deliver induction briefing/training
- Strong communication (written and spoken in English and Arabic)
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing multicultural teams.
Desirable
- Fluent Turkish
- Experience living and working in Syria or neighbouring countries.
- Experience in remote management and implementation of HR policies remotely
