We are currently recruiting for the position of 'UK Programmes Coordinator' to join its dynamic Islamic Relief UK division. The purpose of the role is to develop, lead and manage IRUK’s programmes domestically.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Experience of working in the humanitarian and/or development field(s)
- Experience of developing and implementing strategies
- Experience and/or knowledge of Fundraising from institutions and trusts and grant management
- Extensive experience in community development initiatives
- Demonstrable project cycle/management experience including budget management
- Extensive experience within the charity sector with experience of effective volunteer coordination
- Experience in disaster management in the UK
- Experience of public speaking including media/conferences/seminars
- Proven line management experience including carrying out performance reviews, 1:1 meetings and effective management of performance and/or conduct issues
