The Role:
We are looking for a Data Analysis consultant to work with the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Team for 6 months.
In order to support the use and dissemination of this crucial evidence and to aid evidence-based decision making throughout the organisation, the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Team is engaging a consultant to conduct remote support during survey implementation, data cleaning and analysis for all 2016 CEI survey datasets. The consultant will be engaged on an occasional basis.
The objective of the consultancy is to assist in the production of and lead on the cleaning and standardisation of the 29 Exit Interview datasets in SPSS and STATA, and summarise the data in an Excel file.
About you:
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Experience in the collection, cleaning and analysis of cross-sectional survey data
- Extensive knowledge of data analysis using SPSS and STATA
- Extensive knowledge of VBA, macros, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Master’s degree in Public Health or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with EpiData or willingness to learn before assignment
- Experience in sexual reproductive health, health service delivery and/or research in developing countries preferred
- Possession of an SPSS and STATA software license strongly preferred
- Registered as self-employed or willingness to register before assignment
