The Oxfam Supply Centre is looking for a Supply Officer to join our operations team. You will be expected to process orders made by regional programmes and external agencies, from initial request for quotation and requisition, through to delivery and payment. Arrange daily scheduled flights, consolidations, non-emergency charters, sea freight, and process all courier and Hand Carry documents, and ensure that all exports are done within the guidelines of the Department of Trade and Industry.
You will need to have experience of freight forwarding and export procedures, strong negotiating skills when dealing with external freight forwarding suppliers and have excellent administrative experience and organisational skills. You also need to have a good knowledge of procurement and financial reporting and able to work under pressure and to tight timescales. You will also need to able to relate to people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
