HR Business Partner - Maternity Cover
£39,099 - £40,282 per annum
Full time, 12 month fixed term contract Central London
As HR Business Partner you will be part of a small team engaged in finding ways to meet organisational challenges and support our staff and managers. You will have specific responsibilities for providing strategic advice to managers and coaching them in people management, developing and updating HR policies, overseeing the corporate learning and development programme as well as maintaining the relationship with our HR Information Systems external partner and other suppliers. You will also manage the Volunteer and HR Coordinator and Resourcing Advisor and support them in their respective areas of responsibility.
From ensuring compliance with procedures and payroll reporting to overseeing performance management systems we will look to you to provide a customer focused HR service that is seen to deliver measurable benefits to the organisation.
You must be educated to degree level, be a Chartered Member of CIPD and be able to demonstrate substantial experience in a generalist HR role in a complex environment. You will be able to demonstrate expertise in organisational change projects, employee relations, and policy development. You will have the ability to apply employment law concepts in a flexible way, balancing legal compliance with financial, commercial and creative demands. A pro-active approach to business partnering and ability to coach managers in taking responsibility for people management in the organisation is essential, as is the ability to build successful internal and external working relationships and manage suppliers to provide value for money.
