We are currently looking for a Roving Award Manager, to be based out of our office near Trafalgar Square, London, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

In this role you will provide Award Management expertise to a combination of Emergency Response Programmes, Operational Platform Strengthening Projects, and the Merlin Transition Programme. You’ll provide the primary award management inputs into emergency response programmes, undertake activities to enhance the Award Management capability of Country Offices and provide pre and post go live support to the transition of the final Merlin programs into Save the Children Country offices; highlighting any risks and weaknesses.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in award management within an iNGO, including proposal development and donor reporting. You’ll be knowledgeable of the requirements of the major emergency donors, and have experience in supporting a senior management team. You’ll bring well developed skills in staff management and capacity building, strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent planning and coordination skills and be able to travel at short notice for up to 60% of the time.
