We are looking for an Advocacy Advisor, Child Survival and Health to be based in our Geneva office.

Geneva is a global centre for health and as such provides major opportunities for influencing health policy making with the UN, WHO, INICEF and others, to achieve our Health and Nutrition Global Initiative and EVERY ONE campaign breakthrough of putting an end to all preventable child deaths.

In this role you will undertake lobbying activities with UN agencies and others, advise and support the Advocacy Office Director in her external engagements, provide strategic input to child health advocacy planning, advise Save the Children members and country offices on global health advocacy in inter-governmental processes and opportunities for engagement, and lead on our yearly advocacy strategy for the Executive Board of the WHO and the World Health Assembly.

To be successful in this role you will bring professional experience in the development, humanitarian, child/human rights sector and have experience of implementing programmes in the field. You’ll also have prior experience in the NGO sector or civil society, a proven track record of advocating for change on health issues and be fluent in French and English.
