Habitat for Humanity International is seeking an organized, finance savvy individual who would enjoy the opportunity to serve as Finance and Admin Manager. This role is responsible for financial accounting and reporting oversight of Asia Pacific financial and administrative operation in the Area office. This includes overseeing the International fund transfer requirement of the region. 

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in an environment where they will be responsible for accounting, auditing and financial management duties. Along with report management, this role is also responsible for the training of national and international staff on best practices within financial accounting. This role will also require participation in global work groups that are focused on GAAP financial accounting and reporting.

Qualifications

  • A demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting, GAAP reporting and administration
  • Good understanding of accounting software packages
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and provide advice on strategic planning, organizational development, and program implementation
  • Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent cross-cultural management skills
  • Ability to facilitate virtual (global) project teams
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Utilize appropriate computer programs (ie. Microsoft Office, databases)
  • Willing to travel at least 10% of the time
