Are you looking for a position where you can use your skills and expertise to support CARE’s country offices with their humanitarian work? This is an exciting time to join the CARE International UK humanitarian and emergencies team as we are seeking to grow our expertise and support high impact programmes in our country offices. CAREs innovative work on gender in emergencies is leading the debate around programming on these issues and is central to all of our humanitarian operations.
We are looking for a highly experienced humanitarian to join our UK team tasked with supporting CARE’s Country Offices secure humanitarian funding. You will also manage a portfolio of humanitarian grants in Africa. The post holder will be responsible for developing strong relations with institutional donors, peer agencies and our country offices, representing our operations in a variety of UK fora.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in humanitarian crises, as well as significant experience of preparing funding submissions and the subsequent management of secured grants. In addition you will have previous experience in high level representation. A proactive team player with strong communication skills and ability to work remotely with country offices.
