Here’s where you come in:

 

As Operations Manager - WV Somalia you will provide leadership and support the implementation and coordination of World Vision (WV) Somalia’s Global Fund, SomRep and bilateral grants toward the achievement of child well-being. You will oversee a portfolio of multi sector projects, providing leadership in design, implementation, integration, reporting and fund-raising.

You will also ensure risk-sensitive, pro-active, finance and support service provision to the program. You will be spearhead responsible and effective stewardship of WV resources.

 

 

Requirements include:

 

  • Advanced degree in Development/Humanitarian Emergencies Studies and Project Management. Relevant Sector specialty (with proven experience of team management).
  • At least 10 years’ experience in relief and development, of which 5 must be at a senior management level in complex/ protracted emergencies and recovery operations.
  • Proven ability to manage a large and diverse program portfolio with multiple donors.
  • Familiarity with EU, USAID, DFID, CIDA grant compliance and procedures. Willingness to assume other project tasks as required.
  • Work environment: 100% Field Based in with frequent travels to meet beneficiaries and program partners.
