Our Team
The Frameworks Manager sits within Oxfam GB’s specialist Bids & Tenders Team within the wider Programme Funding & Partnerships Department of over 40 funding, account specialist and commercial bid developers who, between them, lead on the organisation’s engagement with institutional donors.
What we are looking for
In recent years, OGB has adopted an ambitious new resource mobilisation strategy that seeks to grow its income by more than 10% by 2020. In leveraging greater impact through more strategic donor partnerships, one of the key pillars of this new strategy is to increase investment in mobilising resources for long-term development, advocacy, and campaigning programmes, which currently account for approximately 35% of our total income from institutional donors.
To help achieve its vision, Oxfam has invested in developing a core team of specialists within the Programme Funding Department who lead on and support the development of major bid submissions to grants and tenders at a national, regional and international level.
During 2015 and 2016, this team has help Oxfam successfully qualify onto multiple commercial frameworks that will run between 2016 and 2020. To directly support these multiple framework contracts, Oxfam’s Bids and Tenders team now seeks a Framework Manager to act as conduit between Oxfam and each Framework’s lead organisation, coordinating Oxfam’s responsiveness to call-off opportunities, and supporting Oxfam’s interactions with each Frameworks’ lead, donor, and competitors, through effective relationship management.
The Framework Manager will report to the Head of Bids & Tenders and, as working part of this small team, will be given support while also being given enough room to work autonomously.
