About the role

Reporting to the IS Director and based near Bristol (Bradley Stoke) your primary role will be to lead the organisations IS infrastructure and technical support team. Key to the success of this will be the development of a coherent infrastructure and technical operations plan. You will implement technical strategies and solutions, give guidance on the organisations infrastructure solutions, and ensure that on-going operational infrastructure delivery is robust and effective, meeting the needs of our customers across the global partnership. You will need to manage and develop an internal team and oversee the day to day running of systems support matters. This is a global role providing infrastructure services and support both within the UK and increasingly to our country programmes spanning up to 37 countries.

About you

You will have substantial experience of working in a technical support, management, and / or resolution position. You will have expert understanding of call centre telephony infrastructure and emerging convergence technology, as well as Experience of SQL, Citrix, VPNs, firewalls, wireless technology, network security, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and data centre management. As a manager, you will be able to motivate a team to deliver high quality results.
