Job profile
This interim post will work with staff and partners to ensure that procedures and good practice with regards procurement, stock management, fleet management and health, safety and security are developed, understood and embedded. It will also play a key role in the country management team feeding into the country strategy. It is envisaged that this position will only be for 6 months with the aim to embed procedures and develop capacity internally to the point the post will be managed locally in line with CAFOD’s aim of sustainability.
Your profile
You will be a solid logistician with demonstrated field experience in complex and emergency environments. Key to the success of this position is someone who is a strong and supportive logistician and enthusiastic about developing local capacity with a view to longer term change. There are several key milestones we would like to be achieved during the six month position so this would suit someone who works well delivering to objectives and successfully problem solves to overcome challenges.
