The Advocacy Coordinator will support Oxfam’s efforts to design and implement advocacy strategies to better meet the needs of South Sudanese civilians affected by conflict and humanitarian disaster. Working under the supervision of the Advocacy Manager and overall leadership of the South Sudan Country Director, the RIC Coordinator will support Oxfam’s analysis of the situation in South Sudan and the region, including the situation facing Sudanese refugees. In close collaboration with Oxfam program and advocacy staff in South Sudan and in global capitals, s/he will help develop briefings papers, talking points, lobby briefs, and other reports as necessary to facilitate advocacy on identified priorities. S/he will also liaise with South Sudanese and international NGOs in South Sudan. In addition to these responsibilities, the Advocacy Coordinator will liaise with Oxfam South Sudan program staff to compile monthly Situation Reports (SitReps).
