Role and Responsibilities
As an integral part of the HR team, you will support Medair’s international recruitment strategy and objectives based on targeted recruitment activities, resourcing internationally recruited staff (IRS) and HQ staff. Mainly by promoting Medair externally on key websites, or at events, and by providing high quality recruitment communications, by supporting on recruitment projects, and by researching, managing, and adding to key recruitment contact databases from public, training, professional and partner orgs. All the above activities have a strong focus on international and Swiss French-speaking recruitment opportunities.

Medair Headquarters (HQ) provides operational guidance for country programmes and activities, along with both technical and compassionate support for our relief workers. Within our headquarters, we are also responsible for promoting the work of Medair to the world, to raise and manage the funds needed to run our life-saving and sustaining programmes. Review analysis tools and improvement of recruitment targeting potential for recruitment activities.
Recruitment Events

Support Medair recruitment by researching and attending relevant and targeted events in order to build our candidates pool and add to our network of contacts, with a focus on French-speaking parts of Switzerland, as well as internationally.

Organise, coordinate and resource attendees for Medair recruitment information events in key locations across Switzerland / internationally to bring first-hand experience from field staff and Medair HQ staff to encourage and support recruitment of candidates to the field.
Recruitment Database Communications Projects

Supporting Medair recruitment with projects related to improving relationships with Medair staff.

Support improvement of database systems – particularly Wigii database management and Campaign Monitor targeted emailings.

Improve information in key Medair staff databases – e.g. Wigii, Navigator; Campaign Monitor.

Support and maintain research projects e.g. Surveymonkey or other projects.
Recruitment Networking
Recruitment Strategy

Support Medair recruitment strategy by complementing and integrating new recruitment activities with a Swiss and International French bias into the ongoing recruitment strategy and plans.

Recruitment support to affiliate offices helping to research, target and implement relevant recruitment approaches.
